CORE Open UK 2026

“Core” was written everywhere — except at the very top of the podium.

The British scooter brand once again hosted the Core Open Contest, attracting some of the biggest names in the sport with a prize purse of nearly €9,000.

For our Chilli stars Maty Pekarek and Harvey, that was no reason to back down. Although they were ultimately beaten by reigning World Champion Jayden Sharman, they still ensured that Chilli remained one of the dominant forces of the weekend. Finishing 2nd and 3rd, they put two Chilli riders on the podium once again.

By the way:
Barcelona, Montpellier, Blackburn — for Maty, May was one long journey. Between these events, he didn’t spend a single day at home. A remarkable display of passion, dedication, and commitment to the sport. He has practically been living out of a suitcase and, incredibly, has stood on the podium at every single event he has attended this year.
