“The King of Germany”, presented by Chilli Pro Scooter, is regarded as one of the most important and prestigious scooter contests in Europe. Every year, riders from all over the world come together to showcase their skills at the highest level, compete against international athletes, and celebrate their shared passion for the sport. Over the years, the competition has become a key part of the international scootering scene and stands for progression, community, and spectacular performances.
Across five categories – Pro Men, Pro Women, Juniors, Rookies, and Sketchy – the “King of Germany” offers participants of all ages and skill levels the opportunity to compete in a professionally organized event and demonstrate their talent on a major stage. From young upcoming riders to international professionals, everyone has the chance to prove themselves in front of both the audience and the judges while gaining valuable contest experience. The unique combination of experienced top-level athletes and rising young talents is what gives the event its distinctive character.
As the “King of Germany” is not only an international competition but also the most important national scootering event in Germany, it is officially recognized as the German National Championship. For German riders, this means the opportunity to earn the prestigious title of German Champion and establish themselves within the national scene. At the same time, the event provides the chance to compete against some of the world’s best riders and push their own level to new heights.
Over the years, we at Chilli Pro Scooter have invested countless hours into organizing, developing, and promoting this event. Our focus has never been solely on the competition itself, but above all on the growth of the entire scootering community. Every year creates unforgettable moments — from emotional award ceremonies and groundbreaking tricks to inspiring stories of riders pursuing their dreams and surpassing their own limits. These special moments are what make the “King of Germany” far more than just a contest.
Our goal has always been to support the long-term development of the sport and provide riders from around the world with a platform to present themselves on an international stage. The “King of Germany” is intended not only to be a competition, but also a place for connection, motivation, and inspiration for the entire scene. Through close collaboration with partners, sponsors, and the international community, we have continued to evolve the event year after year and take it to the next level.
A major milestone was reached in 2026: together with World Skate, the “King of Germany” was officially elevated to Challenger Event status. This step brought significantly greater international attention to the competition and attracted even more world-class riders to Wuppertal. With its new international status, the event evolved into an even larger spectacle and further cemented its importance within the global scootering scene.
In 2026, we welcomed more than 200 participants from a total of 20 different countries. The international diversity, the exceptionally high athletic level, and the unique atmosphere made the event an unforgettable experience — not only for the athletes, but also for spectators, partners, and the entire community. The “King of Germany” therefore represents the evolution of modern scootering and demonstrates just how strongly the global scene has grown worldwide.
